Another fraudulent company using the web to setup shop to sell used items as new under multiple domains and aliases.
Ordered new aluminum shoe stretcher online at www.shoeandfootcare.com. The shoe stretcher arrived about a week later but it was definitely used as there was dried bloody toe stain on the shoe stretcher. (see picture at http://picasaweb.google.com/ShoeAndFootCareScam/ShoeAndFootCareComKucoComInchMasterComShoeFootReviewCareFraudScamEBayCouponTree?feat=directlink)
Called up customer service 1-800-871-4624 and spoke with Kevin Morris. He insisted that company does not ship out used item and “called up” warehouse to confirm that. Wanted me ship back their used item for an exchange at my own expense. I insisted on speaking to his management but was told that they are not available and never received any other follow-up.
Even though the price of the item is small, I decided to go ahead and dispute the charge with the credit card company as it is the principle of not spending any money with a company that practices in such unethical behavior. The credit card company have informed me that Shoeandfootcare said that they did offer “free return” shipping and that "I was asking for a discount” instead. It is unfathomable that anyone would want a “discount” on used and bloodied shoe stretcher. This entire experience could have ended with them offering a free return from the get-go and avoid this but I never heard back from their customer service and they chose to indulge in their bad acts. I will continue to dispute the charge and post further updates.
